My Cool Goals

We are learning  how to write our own goal for term three. I have written my maths, writing and reading goals.I know I have learnt it because I have persuaded a person to like what I like , read two types of texts and can solve a maths problem using two strategics. Here are my goals.

My goal for writing it to persuade  the person using my words and vocabulary .This is important because just in case another person is doing something crazy and I can persuade the person to not do it. The steps I will take to achieve my goal will be. I will learn more vocabulary and try to persuade a person to like something of mine.

My goal for Reading  is to read Two different types of texts in 1 each week.This is important because I can read the newspaper  and see what is happening in the neighbourhood just in case there is a burglar on the loose.The steps I will take to achieve my goal will be find more texts to read different texts each day,Read the texts to my sisters or brother s each night.

My goal for Maths is to use two ways to solve maths problems.This is important because if someone takes my strategy I have another one. The steps I will take to achieve my goal will be  find out other  ways to solve the problem and get a equation to solve.

Areas

We are learning how to use non-standard measures to find the area of a shape. I know I have learned this lesson when I can do the 6 steps which is to draw a shape, take a picture, make a estimation, check, take a picture with the people in the area or shape and make a statement.This is my statement we estimated that four people could fit in the oblong or the shape which was the area our estimation was right. This is the ovals photo that they took.

 

Kill The Germs

 
We are learning how to wash our hand the right way. We he have to wash our hands to not spread germs and sickness. We did an experiment with glitter. We had the glitter as germs and see where the germs are going.  I have made a presentation to show the correct way to wash your hands.

Maori Style

We are learning how to introduce our self in Maori. I know I have learned how to introduce my self in Maori when I can say my mihi in Maori and English. I have made a presentation of my self in Maori and English.

Graces of Anointing of the sick

We are learning about anointing of the sick has its own special graces. I know I have achieved my learning is when I have all the graces of anointing of the sick. These are all  most of the special graces.
Courage, love , strength , comfort , faith , hope , forgiveness and more. This my picture of my graces.

Healing Prayer

We are learning how write a healing prayer. I know I can write a healing prayer when There is a thank you,for healing us. Reflect on the sick person. Ask for someone to get healed and to promise to change.

Healing God,

Thank you God for the doctors and nurses who look over Nelson Mandela. Also thank you for the people who looked after me too. Please heal Nelson Mandela  who has lung problem in his body. Give him strength to get threw the the problem. Help all those who are dealing with the same problem. Look over Nelson's  wife who is watching him suffer. Help Africa to keep on going without him.

Vocabulary is Awesome

 

We are learning  how to make a synonym wheel because we want to make our work more exciting .We had  to make a synonym  wheel that changed a boring word into exciting words.
