Fencible Cottage PMI

Fencible Cottage
We have been learning about the Fencibles who settled in Panmure in the 1840’s.
These men travelled from the other side of the world to begin a new life in New Zealand.
They were known by some as retired soldiers. When they came, they brought their families and as many of their belongings that they were allowed to bring.  They came on big ships.
Recently we visited the Stone Cottage in Panmure to see what life was like for the Fencibles.
The following is a PMI with key notes about that visit.
Plus
Minus
What are some of the things that you don’t like in the cottage?
Interesting
What did you find interesting in that cottage?

The Potty In The Room Is Really Exquisite So You Do Not Have To Go Far.The Furniture Was Vintage And Thats What I Like The Most. The Mens Clothes Were Very Cool. Fencible List Is The Best For People Who Did Not Know If There Ancestors Were In The Fencibles also The Map Of Panmure In 1800s Is Good For People Who Want To Know What Was Replacing Their House Or Where Was There School Were In The 1800s.The Stairs Were Small Just My Size. The Bike Was Very Old But Funny. The Fireplace Was The Best Thing That Happened In This Cottage Probably. There Were Three Bed Rooms For A Small House That Was Amazing. The House Was A Two Story Building So I Love That.
The Appliance (Vacuum, Iron,
Carpet Sweeper) as not good and The   Women Clothes Was Not Stylish.
